bol carré en hêtre échauffé tourné dans mon atelier dans les Ardennes, celui-ci est très échauffé et fendu, une fente court sur la moitié du bol et on voit au travers mais le bois est sec et stable. Toutes les fentes ont été traitées avec de la colle cyano. Finition à l’huile de lin bouillie + gomme laque, bouche-pore cellulose, cire alimentaire Hampshire Sheen. Spalted beech square bowls turned in my workshop in the North-East of France, this one is quite punky and has several cracks, one runs across half of the bowl and you can see through it but the wood is dry and stable. All the cracks have been taken care of with CA glue. Finished with boiled liseed oil + shellac, cellulose sanding sealer, Hampshire Sheen Food Safe wax.
