Goodday, I am Mickael Thierart

Arwood Creations is small business established in June 2021, located in the North-East of France, in Saint-Germainmont (08190)

I have been woodworking for 10 years. When I started, my goal was to make unique solid wood pieces to replace those melamine kit furniture. Along the way, I have made detours through guitar building and sculpting but woodturning remains the happiest of them all.

Now that I teach part-time, I can spend more time in the workshop to hopefully live from my craft within 3 years. I am selftaught and I would define my style as traditional, influenced by the greatest 20th century woodworker like Gustav Stickley, Greene and Greene, Sam Maloof, George Nakashima... and by the most famous woodturners like David Ellsworth, Ray Allen, Malcolm Tibbets, Pascal Oudet...
